'Miriam' By Leroy, aged 5, Melbourne

I met a boy whilst manning the colouring-in stall sponsored by IKEA. (Which was SO much fun 8)!!) He was awfully cute. Spoke Mandarin and is GREAT at drawing. I wish he let me keep his underwater one. This will have to suffice.  His name is Leroy. And this is his rendition of me. He's 5 years old and was up from Melbourne with his parents, who were selling kites at the show. 

Here's my impression of him:

Egad. His eyelashes look rather pronounced? Blaming the scanner for this one.

Nothing will compare to him in real life though! <3

This is what happened last time I sat down to study on that dining table. It was productive, I promise!

YUP. So much so, I even managed to tie up my first lolly snake ever. with my TONGUE. CHYEAH! ;D

I realise now thet'll be sticking around for a while yet.
They're not too serious, but know when they have to be.
They make my day THAT much more bearable and worthwhile.
We can spend time seperately, yet not grow apart.
Easy. Free. Unconditional.

I understand it may come across as a little selfish, but we're already having fun, enjoying each others' company as it is. And I like how we are. And I don't want that to change. I like the fact that remaining like this, the way we are right now, means both our hearts can remain intact and NOT potentially smithereens of smithereens.

Guilty.
So very, very guilty on this one.
let it be said, I'm horribly disorganised and prone to large bouts of  procrastination.
I've managed to pass everything thus far this semester. Yet I feel like such a failure.
I'm as last minute as ever and can see it potentially hurting me now. In a big way.
3 weeks to go and I've not an exam. Which means EVERYTHING WILL BE DUE WITHIN THESE THREE WEEKS.
CUE: STRESS.
I guess after last semester's surprisingly surprising GPA.. I thought I could get the same this semester with same effort? eh. No such luck... And only I can help myself out of this. Ergh.
Precedents schmecedents.
Who needs education?!
